World Thinking Day is celebrated on 22 February each year by Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from around the world. Each year there is a different focus:

The 22 February was chosen as it was the joint birthday of Scouting founder Robert Baden-Powell and of Olave Baden-Powell, his wife and World Chief Guide.
Lord Robert Baden-Powell was born on 22 February 1857.
Lady Olave Baden-Powell was also born on 22 February 1889.
World Thinking Day and Founders' Day Service

In the United Kingdom, a joint service is held by Girlguiding UK and the Scout Association in Westminster Abbey, London. During the service, wreaths are laid on the Baden-Powell memorial stone in the Nave.
